Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) | Movie Review

Starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlet Johanson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner

It’s hard to talk more about the movie without revealing a lot of details, so I’m keeping this review as short as possible. I am a big fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I’ve watched every movie that’s part of the MCU, from the 1st Iron Man movie, up to Guardians of the Galaxy, and with that, I can say that this is the best they’ve released yet.

It has the perfect balance of action, comedy, and a bit of drama. Unlike the first Avengers movie, this strips the characters down to their core, bringing some sort of emotional depth to the movie. Iron Man, Capt. America, Thor & Black Widow are still the same heroes we have come to love, although they’re more pumped up here.

Hawkeye gets his much needed character development in this film, as we see him go back to his roots, and his family. Quicksilver and Wanda were given a lot to do, although they feel very underdeveloped.

Overall, the film was just awesome, it was fun and it was easy to get through the more than 2 hour runtime.

My Rating: 9/10

P. S. If you were told that there would be no post-credits scene, then they were somewhat right. Just try to stay through the credits and see for yourself.
